I think it was my last birthday that my friend Rebecca gave me a little strawberry scissor fob. I was enamored with it... I daresay it's one of the cutest things I own. But it wasn't until yesterday, when my other craft pursuits were veering straight into dead ends that I thought to make my own pattern for a scissor fob. I searched online and didn't find much of anything I liked in the scissor fob arena (not that I saw everything that was out there, but what I saw didn't strike my fancy). So, it stood to reason that a scissor fob tutorial was needed.
If you are crafty in any possible way, you could use a scissor fob. Not only that, but your crafty friends could use one too. I occasionally stick my needle in mine so that I don't lose it when I leave my project for a moment, but best of all is that I can easily find my scissors in my sewing bag. Think of it as a keychain for your scissors (and if you're like me, you may have a very large keychain so that you can find your keys in your purse...).
