I got up this morning and my internet wasn't working, so I used my quiet time (i.e. email/blogging time) to type up the Nifty Knitted Potholder pattern. Now keep in mind... this is a free offering, which means that although I did attempt to make sure it was correct, there's always a chance that I overlooked something. If you knit it and find something amiss, please let me know so that I can fix it. I had hoped to go knit another one using my typed directions to make sure, but just haven't had the time to do so.
Download the pdf file for The Nifty Knitted Potholder. And it's free (because I love you, of course).
This is truly no-frills. Just a basic, reasonably decent looking potholder. But knit in cute colors, and given with a dry soup mix or a basket of homemade rolls... wouldn't that be a fun treat?
The photo below is one I came across yesterday while noticing that my youngest sister has uploaded a fair few pictures of me on Facebook (which I personally think should be against the law), and I saw this one of me knitting at a family camp out. For your viewing pleasure, of course. Notice how I am knitting in the dark. Apparently knitting by the light of a flash camera and a flickering campfire is possible. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.

I love how it's knitted on the diagonal, yet the edges are so neat!
